Entered a Dead Ends after months... I was WHM, the Job I main in Savage. Was an absolute numbskull. Sorry, tank. Not sure why the health was slipping so quickly and was unmanageable. Probably WAR/PLD healing has me spoilt.

This is very true. Anything beyond lv56 when paired with WAR and lv82+, I can practically do dailies on one hand and typing on mobile discord friend group on another hand.

Ultima's worst mechanic is the "maze" segment where you have to dodge AoEs, moving adds dropping more AoEs, and still make it back into her hitbox before the moving wall of doom reaches you. Oh, and until you're back up close, you're pacified and can't cast anything, not even defensive skills or sprint. It's annoying and breaks the flow of the fight.

Otherwise there's just a crapload of AoEs everywhere, and catching the divebomb adds for a damage buff. It's not too difficult, it's just constant.

One thing that I only just realized few weeks ago, the crapload of AoEs (specifically speaking the small but almost instant ones) are aimed randomly close to wherever the untargetable winged mobs. I always slowdown a bit and wait for those to fly past before going on ahead and has never been hit since. It's also my favorite part of encounter.

I mentioned this in the pass but we should be allowed to set a number of clears in order to join and not just once. Will help a lot.

Would be nice. I've definitely been in a few Unreal where people say they've done it every week for retells - but you can tell they've maybe done it twice, but end up on the floor for what feels like 40% of the fight. When it's one, or both, of the healers and you don't have a SMN/RDM...it definitely makes it annoying.

It's absolutely insane how many bards I come across in high level contents who don't seem to know how to use Warden's Paean. They just randomly use it on themselves.

Same with those spamming Peloton mid-fight for whatever reasons.

At least they have it on their hotbar. That's a step up from many people not even having things like Feint, Addle, Warden's Paen, Nature's Minne etc on their hotbar and making a pikachu faced when someone politely asks them to use it for a specific mechanic. I've had people reply with "just heal it/ heal more/ it's just 10%" when someone asked them to please use something for a mechanic that hurt or suggested selfheal when they kept dying to something because they insisted on outranging heals.

But I agree, please read your tooltips. They're not novel-lengths, it's just a few words, please read them.

When you are actually healing, manually raising players, raising players on cd with swiftcast, but apparently I have to have zero MP to not get called out for "not healing". I can UNDERSTAND people saying in that in certain circumstances when I do extremes, but they all were dying because they can't do mechanics not for lack of healing in the first place. God forbid I use thin air when I raise players.

Had someone ragequit my party earlier when I asked them to please press holy or just anything but Cure 1. They told me they couldn't do that because they're a healer, and they don't have time to dps. I explained why holy stunning everything for like.. 7 seconds straight is so good on the tank, and they just left.

can they just delete cure 1 already

Had this happen to me before. Healer would not holy. Insisted I wasn't rotating my cooldowns, when I was, and had the right gear for the job level. They said I took too much damage too fast, and needed to pull slower. So I complied. 1 pack pull, only cure 1. "Can we kick the tank?" - They vote kicked him instead.
