Dalriada should be doable these days. I'm leveling some alt jobs in Zadnor and I see the amaount of ppl joining this content.

... but I have seen bigger groups aswell.

Last time I did was with 9 people with half new to the raid. It went almost smooth for exception of the door section, it was a mess but other than that, cleared well.

Praise Deep Essence of the Beast + Lost Assassinate Monk, didn't even need Incense to get MT aggro.

For Dalriada, last time I did it we wereonly 4, and it went super easy even though the other two were first timers and had no essences and honors.
Honestly, CLL and DLR are much easier with less people cause it scales well and it with that HP it's almost impossible to die.

Very different from DR.

you are COMPLETLY right, and i completly forgot about that mechanic while writing this...... so yes you need either "someone to res you" or "someone to dispell you" if you like playing the roullete lost reraise(iirc) is an option

"just use discord" is a really dumb solution that just shoves the problem under the rug. I shouldn't have to be forced to use discord to complete a relic (which is casual content). They need to make the Delubrum step have a better alternative because PFs do not fill consistently and you have to run it 5 times, each run of which could take an hour if you're with a small amount of people. Bozja relics are fucked and that's just how it is. Every other relic, including Eureka, you have agency over your own relic completion.

edit: forgot to mention, if you have a tiny amount of people attempting DR, you have to be much more focused, organized, and consistent in your play. nowhere ever before has this been something you have to do if you just want to finish a relic. I'm not going into a relic grind with there being a step that I have to go into with the same mindset as savage.

@ OP: .... Not sure what to tell you, I suppose play POTD and pray for the sub 1% chance drop rate on the Delubrum step item?

Mechanics make most of the ShB relic kit impossible or extremely awkward to solo or duo.

It needs to be looked at, but it's FFXIV gameplay content so expect not one finger to be lifted. If it isn't text in a box, acted by player emotes it isn't a priority.

I was infact wrong apperently:

That tankbuster won't apply doom if there is no damage received. Couple that with the ridiculous echo scaling and possibly the essences, so long the targeted player is shielded for that part there's no need to cleanse it. GNB and PLD invuln will also negate the doom.

Or if people are generous enough, they can bring Lost Medikits that achieves just that however expensive/infrequently obtained they are.

That's true and according to the devs, it's a third-party tool, so technically against the ToS.

It is best to do with 4-6 person as it scales and you get super boosted.

Do not queue in.

This is the exact same advice EVERYONE gives to new players who need to do extreme trials. Not sure why would it be different for any other old content.

Because EXes are not casual content. Relic grind on the other end is supposed to be yes grindy, but casual. You absolutely can't compare the two.

yes, it is soloable. whether its worth your time however is up to you. personally, there is no situation i would find it to be worth my time.
