step 1 : make aggressive nonsense thread
step 2: pretend you are LGBT
10+ pages of wasted time while people argue about being LGBT as if the OP is being sincere

it seems like they thrive with being infamously unpopular, as long as there's people reacting to those threads (good or bad) they will continue.
I suppose I just fed the troll, but hey... This is my monthly quota of doing so.

i don't understand thread like this, can we just leave trans people alone?

So what exactly is it that he wants? The way I see it, this is just another western topic in an odd place (this time, a video game fourm). I prefer talking about something that matters, like how blacklist is now a hateful term and "many" in the IT community want to change the name while going "Screw uniformity, I have social clout!" and not thinking how that will break a lot of established servers by making this change.
This whole game is a pride event

First it starts with a Pride event in a game
Then it becomes a Black Lives Matter event in a game
Then it becomes a Ukraine event in a game.
My point is, there are way to many of these to add into a video game. Are they important issues? Absolutely. Should awareness be spread? Absolutely. But you can't expect game developers to add something into the game every time a world issue happens. Especially when they aren't international holidays.
Companies only donate to these events because they get tax breaks. And half the time, the donations are coming from their own employee paychecks whom of which don't get any of the recognition or credit. Only the cooperate does.

Would it be in bad tastes to have an in game event where you donate to Ala Mingo and the result is new housing and less NPCs by the sapphire exchange? What about a Garliean relief fund? Beastman pride week where you get double tokens for the week? Allagan History month with new codex entries?First it starts with a Pride event in a game
