I don't mind if it's not dyeable. What bugs me is when they're all one piece. I'm still not sure what makes them decide what is one piece and what is not - not all NPC outfits are one piece either, so it's doubly ??????? because there's no rhyme or reason for some to have multiple pieces (Lyse's traveling outfit is top, bottoms, feet, earrings, Y'shtola's outfits) but then others are for no reason.

I really hope they go back and separate pieces later on, especially when there's literally no reason to keep them as one piece.

-All outfits, everywhere, from any source ,of any new design or npc "copy" should be dyeable
-Costume should always be broken into separate slot pieces

How 'bout removing the gender lock on that outfit and all of the others, SE? I don't mind it being undyeable, I do mind the gender locks.

With the way dye channels work in this game it should take them maybe 5 minutes to make an outfit dyeable, especially when the outfit already existed for 2 expansions.

And don't start with the whole "It's to preserve the style of the NPC outfit" or "preserve the identity of the NPC" nonsense. You know what certainly doesn't preserve the identity of the NPC? Running through a player hub and seeing 30 clones of said NPC.

Everything from the mog station should be dyeable, period. If that would lead to an increase in the price then so be it.

But it still doesn't make this set less sucky.

Just wondering why we can't get something so something as to making it dyable? What limitations are there? If we're going to pay real money on top of a subscription for a cash shop, at least give us a bit of a courtesy and allow a bit of customization
oooh. Got a link to those streetwear ones?

"preserve the npc's identity", I'm sorry but that stops when you put it on literally anyone else, especially a lalafell.
Speaking of, the only thing that actually justifies a cost to these outfits is them making it for Roe/Lalafell as the rest don't really take work, if they added dyes to the outfit it'd at least somewhat "justify" the cost for other races.

I have my fingers crossed for you, it really should be dyable!

Also-- "preserve the identity of the NPCs" -- did everyone take them seriously? I thought they were being cheeky lol

They always have contradictory standards. Yoshida said several years ago they couldn't make gear wearable to all roles because seeing healers in armor sets would confuse players. Meanwhile, we'll ignore Frog suits and bikinis being perfectly viable "tanking" attire.

Everything should be dyeable and not a onesie set. Would also be nice if they let you buy individual pieces. In fact, it'd likely be more profitable to them as people will buy more if they can pick and choose, especially for alts.
