    Looking at you, e10s doggo, with your bloody "please stand in the stack with 3 people, if someone isn't in the stack the other two who did it correctly get a damage down" mechanic.

    Insta-death mechanics, in particular twice come ruin. Bad enough when it's my fault but now I also have to worry about net glitches and other people dropping mechanics on me. Extra fun when you get several rezzes and no healing.

    A shame since without it CLL/DR/Dalriada would be really fun instances.

    There is a level 70 story dungeon that's final boss requires you to watch how he is positioned for his attacks.

    The stupid orbs in the Nier raids.

    I loved those when I was playing Nier: Automata, because evading/dodging around them felt like a real dance, and taking the damage from them when I got hit felt deserved.

    But in the xiv raids, idk what exactly the issue is--janky hitboxes or my eternal ping issues or a lack of dodge/movement abilities that don't threaten to fling me into more bad--I get hit by them even if I don't see myself getting hit. And it just feels shitty, because from what I could tell, I was dancing. But from what my healers can tell, I've got two (or maybe three) left feet. ;-;

    A very specific niche complaint: We have an ability that can let us catch a fish at any time under the right weather conditions. But we do not (yet) have an ability that lets us catch a fish at any weather under the right time conditions. Thus, my fishing log remains incomplete.

    The stacking vuln down mechanic seems to be a step towards trying to get players to more consistently do fight mechanics as a stack applies when a player fails to avoid an avoidable attack. Though I've seen 4 player duties still cleared while the tank was sitting at 8 stacks. DR took it one step further with the twice come ruin debuff that just outright killed players if they failed 2 mechanics within the span of a minute.

    The only real issue I have with the misdirection mechanic is that it doesn't effect all jobs equally. Jobs with targeted move abilities that select party members or a floor location can just about ignore it.
