Be honest, because I just feel as if that did in fact happen, there’d still be plenty of people playing ffxiv like nothing happened. Bad PR, but what matters is the subscriptions. I’m sure 80 - 90% of players would still stay.

I don’t support NFTs but let’s be real here.

That depends... would the NFTs affect the game that I play? If not, then i'd probably still play. If a company wants to get into idiotic trade practices and lose money, it's not my problem.

Edit: Don't think I wouldn't be vocal about their decision, I wouldn't support it at all.

I don't play any games with NFTs in them. Besides, I already have the Racing Chocobo Helm IRL, so I'm gucci. I'd just message a few people in game where to reach me on discord and then just stop playing

I guess it depends on how they implemented them. If it was a totally optional cash shop item that is just a vanity thing and didn't effect gameplay. Sure why not, already plenty of cash shop items I don't own. If on the other hand it somehow became essential or highly desirable to gameplay then maybe not. Again, it would depend on how they do it. Like a housing deed as an NFT would probably make me rage quit
