I do not even need to read the wall of text to point out how absurd this thread is. You are claiming that SCH is both horribly designed and your favorite job in the opening statement. You are also pointing out that numbers on reporting websites show the SCH is capable of healing, which is their role. So, if SCH is as horribly designed as you may claim it to be, then why is it your favorite job and why is it capable of healing content successfully? The truth is, you want SCH to play a specific way and the job is "horribly designed" to you until those changes happen. You are just being dramatic.

I don't personally think any healer is paticularly interesting right now. They're all loaded up with these egregiously bloated kits that are only used in a handful of encounters, namely Savage 3/4 and Ultimates.

Outside of the filler heal and a signature move or two, it's largely the same with varying levels of QoL (I would agree that even after numerous upgrades the fairy still feels a bit odd for the lack of oomph she has)


I would give anything for the role to be more interesting to play in easier content. It's my number one wish for this game... that and more difficult dungeons, which Yoshi P says I shouldn't want because I'm a healer (?).

Well we are getting Criterion dungeons sometime either at or after 6.2, so we'll get to see what that experience is like. One thing that I like about 4-man content generally is single target healing tends to have greater value, and that will be especially nice for Kardia-swapping I imagine. I honestly find Kardia more fun in dungeons than in Savage. No telling what the actual experience will be like, though.

Ironically, I feel like despite its shear lackluster performance, WHM has become one of the more fun healers to actually play now that you can use your GCD for something other than Glare on rare occasions. It's not much, but healers have been living off breadcrumbs over the last several years and now someone's dropped 1 whole crust.
