Well instead of devolving the user experience for everyone give people the ability to set their plates to NSFW or 18 plus if they want to do something or use certain in-game gear in a glamour.

Then that would bump the rating to a hard R and that means less money for SE. Too bad, want something to blame? Look at the playerbase. For god's sake, they cite E8S for their argument. They are comparing an npc that is covering their naughty bits that is caused by a mechanic to pictures that simulate sexual acts. What a world we live in~!

It is a very western thing to see any kind of nudity or near nudity as sexual in nature, a lot of places don't have such a narrow view. The point being that in game bosses and story events that might have what we would consider suggesting clothing would simply be seen as symbolic or expressive in most other places, including Japan where this game originates.
