More Interesting Dancer Weapons PLEASE!

I love playing Dancer, I love the buff it provides and the skill graphics. The mechanics is also quite interesting.

But my problem is that the dancer weapon selection is so limited and uninteresting compare to all other jobs (apart from machinist maybe). The Dancer weapon design is almost like an afterthought.

I am not a hardcore play and I don't know how to get the ultimate shinny weapon, but at least the game should provide some more interesting Dancer weapon for casual players.....after all, dancer is a showy job and needs some showy weapon to match...looking at the market board or dancer weapons from the dungeons, they are boring and dark and tiny, most of them don't even have colours, just a black circle.

Please game developers, provide more interesting Dancer Weapon designs. The current design is quite bad and so BORING! Spice it up a bit Please I beg you!

The first time I saw their weapons I remembered FFVIII Rinoa's weapon design. Maybe, it came from there? dunno...
Anyway, they should use weapons that are similar to that ribbon-like instrument at the Olympics, see?

During the dances, the ribbons form beautiful movements in the air and helps in the art of dance.

Current weapons are props practically unconnected with dance, in fact. They look more like mere weights that dancers must keep lifting. '-'

Ribbons would be nice—but I don’t know how they’d get them to work in terms of structure to make them not horribly stiff and clip through your character with every other movement. The ShB AF gear butt ribbons already do that with certain poses if you pause /gpose in the right spot.


I’d personally like to see fans as a weapon for the job. I think they’d fit aesthetically when I consider what the DNC AF gear looks like. So far, the only weapons I’ve found that I like are Titania’s weapons from her EX trial. Even the TEA and new DRU weapons aren’t that stellar—DRU is at least better than TEA, because why they picked the ugliest model for the TEA weapon I have no idea. The first glowing stage of the ShB relic was also nice.

But, a beautiful mess. Especially if the ribbons leaves a glowing trail like some DRK weaponskills.

Is that the Laws Order one? I think that one was my favourite out of all the DNC weapons we've received to date
