This game has no midcore. Content is either mechanically complex, or so forgiving you could practically sleep through it. This state of affairs is not least helped because the community dramatically flings itself at its fainting couch declaring everyone a "try-hard savage ultimate difficulty chaser" if they dare ask for a setting on the dial between "grudgingly will prevent you from succeeding if an alliance or two is dead and you have 5 vulnerability stacks" and "will make you restart if one person is standing outside the ten pixel safe zone".

Most of this community has an incredibly skewed definition of difficulty when they think any upward tuning of Alliance raids would make them "savage Elden Ring stressful".
