This. It's likely only referring to any data the housing server actually received, but was falsely displayed as 0/no participants, which will likely only be a niche amount of the plots affected.

If your plot still isn't functioning, you have to wait for the maintenance.

That sounds like players who were the only one bidding on a plot but still lost to the winning number 0, will now actually get the plot an don't have to bid again.
That should also apply to members of the same FC who bid and on a plot and were the only FC bidding on that plot and still lost to winning number 0.
So basically everyone who was actually guaranteed to get a plot, should now get it.

That's really nice to hear and tbh it's the only acceptable solution.
Now it's just about waiting for the maintenance and keeping our fingers crossed that nothing else will go wrong again.
