What people expect from this housing blunder.

The thing that worries me is : what happen to people who refound and spent the money, so they don't have enough for the plot anymore ? (people are smart enough to keep the money safe I guess but few of them threw all of their savings into this)
Will the people submitted to the bug have the house for free as a compensation ?

Exemple because of my poor english :
You had 3 050 000 and you put 3 000 000 for the house. Quite a struggle to you but still.
You refounded your 3 000 000 but spent 100 000 gils during the time of the fix ; you not have the money anymore to claim your house back if SE finally gives it to you. What do you do ?

tldr : I worry about not very wealthy players who refounded.

I expect they will apologize, say nothing can be done to give the people who lost on a 0 roll anything but another chance to enter the lotto. Players who can’t get their money now will get their money returned. The bug won’t happen in the next lotto period.

They might open FC wards by server basis in 6.2 They might add more wards in 6.2, but I doubt it because island sanctuaries and new servers are coming in August. That’s my guess.

The housing system will continue to be extremely frustrating and the people who wanted a lottery system will still be upset because they still don’t have a house. Maybe in 7.0, if island sanctuaries aren’t instanced housing already, they may add instanced housing if people keep asking. Remember people begged over and over for the fair lottery system. Maybe now they’ll beg for instanced housing.

Yoshi P told us to temper our expectations of Island Sanctuaries. I know people are hoping for instanced housing, but my realistic gut is saying we will be disappointed.

Don't worry, I think you very clearly stated your concern. And it's a valid one that I'm not sure how they will address. I mean, several new mounts and minions were just added to the game so I can absolutely see someone saying "Well, screw it, I lost the house so I'm just going to spend my Gil on the Market Board to buy this new mount/minion instead." I'm not sure how that's going to be handled.

What I ultimately expect they might do is fix the 0 number lots and give an exclusive round where those who lost with and without the glitch can only enter and to hopefully change the balancing of FC/Personal to 30/70 because for Omega hardly filled the FC allocations.

It’s a very complicated issue, will they give an amount of time for recovering Gil (one week maybe)? But not everyone can make a good amount of Gil in a few days.

Or will they give the houses ? It could be a fair compensation but this would create other issues with the winners who payed for their plots.
(And I personally will be a little salty if they give houses for free to everyone who putted a ticket, I confess, because the guy who prevented me from relocating will really be a lucky winner XD)

Smol indie company, can't expect too much.

The new 13 quid mount and the dreamfitting feature works flawlessly though. Strange isn't it.

I entered the housing lottery last Tuesday on a mansion. I paid 47.5 million gil. The results on 4/16 at 8 am showed winner plot and randomly begin a loop between plat 4 and 5. I never got my gil refunded back to after I didn't get the mansion. I sent a message to support team about it. I was very upset about it

I personally have no interest in instanced housing. So its true some may want it but definitely not everyone.
