    Yeah, there seems to be a failure of communication somewhere. What people are mostly asking for is the normal content to not be braindead and for more midcore content, and particularly content you can keep busy with; PVP content can fill that role but honestly its design in this game isn't fit for that task and not everyone likes PVP. So saying "go do savage or ultimate" to me is just totally missing the point. We'll see what the criterion dungeons bring, but I'm not expecting much.

    It especially sucks if you’re not really into trials or raids (even though I’ve done them previously) - I much prefer dungeons, but sadly can’t see something like M+ here without them actually making things more dynamic.

    The thing with people saying players wouldn’t take the branching paths….a simple solution, while somewhat basic, it would be better than the straight cookie cutter hallway we have. Have dungeons force a plot between the group, tank and healer get split off together, dps get split off together, maybe mix it for different dungeons so it’s tank and dps and healer and dps, and then have it be randomized what group goes on which split for each dungeon, kind of similar to the whole alliance different platform thing in alli raids. Even that would go a long way i feel and wouldn’t necessarily “force” people to go out of their way to go on branching paths, but would still give them that experience and let them see new parts of the dungeons outside of their first run.

    I've tried PVP especially frontlines and it can be a fun time from time to time but it's not something I find myself actively wanting to back to, same with the deep dungeons. POTD and HoH were "fun" but not something that I'm thrilled to go back to.

    Anything that takes away a players choice is forcing..back the drawing board.

    They don't design hard dungeons anymore because when they did people complained about Demon Wall being too hard, so they nerfed it to irrelevance. The sad fact is that the majority of the players are mouth breathers and Yoshi-P is content with catering to them.

    Even if they did something as basic as have a hallway branch in 3 directions, letting you choose the order you kill the bosses, maybe the order influencing the mechanics the other bosses left do. Any level of creativity when it comes to dungeon design would be great.
