There is not a way to actually fix this if it was an off by one error. This would mean that everyone that won is incorrect and it should be +1 to that number. Fixing it means you are taking away from the winners while ignoring people that lost there bid due to this bug. Ignoring it means people that bidded on a plot and got 0 will be angry but can bid again and those that lost, they can just say you would have lost anyways or something. They will likely address it fix it for the future but everything will stay as is because they don't want to deal with or back lash of taking houses away. Which is still BS cause everyone that won isn't the correct winner currently.

On a side note. Why did they allow multiple FC members to bid on a house. That just makes this a broken rigged system.

I am so even complaining about this game I don't know why I bother Yoshi P is just going to drive this game straight to the ground. Can't even do a basic entry level programming project to select a number from a set.

We placed our bid on small FC Plot 27 on ward 9 Emp/Shiva on 12.04. before the maintenance this week. And it shows the "No participants" message. We were the only bidders.
Some speculate its about biddings before the maintenance were nulled. Dont know...but this is just so frustrating....

Watch them "fix" this bug by adding +1 to the RNG formula resulting in a chance of the winning number being larger than the number of participants by one :^)

Not it doesn't, because many plots won on the last bidder. They got 6 bids, and it went to no. 6.
It isn't a case of every ticket should have been the one before it, it is a case of there being an additional 'void' ticket in every lottery.
Instead of there being 4 tickets for 4 players, there were 5 tickets, they had a 20% chance to win instead of a 25% chance. But whoever won, still won, and their win is valid.

I know those who lost their plot to this bug aren't going to like it, but the fairest thing they can do is to not roll back anything, fix the issue and say "try again next week".

Yes. That would mean instead of number 6, it rounded back to ticket 1 as the winner. And no, Fuck that. I spent 200mil and waited at this plot. I dont' care if you won a plot (You clearly did). It's either fixed or they are losing tons of subs over a coding issue. Let alone all the negative press it's gonna have towards the competency going forward and concerns over ultimate

I can’t seem them rolling it all back because I don’t know how that doesn’t screw the folks who already transferred to their new home. So they roll it back, say everyone has to enter again and what happens to the people who won? They lose the new plot and their previous plot?

Our FC was one of the affected (all 20 are from our FC, rolled a 0 winner)
We also noticed that during the bidding phase, the plot said "You have submitted a lottery entry for plot 2, ward 60, Empyreum." We just thought it was a funny error in reading out the message at the time. (the real plot is ward 2 plot 60, cact)
Perhaps these two bugs are related? Like its trying to pull results from a house that dont exist? (Ward 60 isnt real)

Your maths is horribly wrong. You're saying tickets should be 1 less now?
So whoever was no. 0 (the void) should have been -1?
If someone won their lottery with the first ticket, then that means it SHOULD have been a 0?

I didn't win a plot, I said as much already.

Point still stands, more people won plots than plots got zero'ed, rolling back pisses off more people.
