A LOT of gender locked stuff in the store

I really wish that gender-specific clothing designs weren’t things in the first place; every set of clothes should be supported for both men and women, like without exception, rather than Square Enix arbitrarily make the choice to enforce problematic gender roles.

That said, I am glad that an effort is being made to improve this over time, but there’s still more progress to make, and some current event clothes are gender-locked as well.

I would buy Cid's outfit just for the goggles. But apparently they can't fit on a woman's head, for some reason.

The in-game gear has been released in stages, so Mog Station gear might be next.

It's not just a matter of flipping a switch. They do need to take the time to adapt the model to each character shape.

Yeah, it's annoying event stuff and store stuff is still genderlocked. I don't like it either. I look forward to when they finally address it. Been happy with what has been adapted so far.

These things take time, I don’t think SE should pour all their resources to get this done ASAP… especially considering in just 6,1 they already made quite a few outfits unisex.

it's bad considering that the latest outfit the released (omega F/M) is genderlocked. I understand there are two different characters (male and female omega) but if they are going towards genderless they should have newer things not have genderlock.
