Yes because fighting Zenos yet again is clearly a new direction for the main plot, which is what all this is culminating to obviously.

What Kari said. Like I said before, cleaning up loose ends from previous storylines does not discredit the idea of a new direction.

I also say this with a grain of salt, because if SE decides that creating a brand new version of Tempering or having the WOL fight yet more versions Titan or Ifrit would make the fans pay up, they'll do it.
