We really should be able to glamour other jobs' sets

Considering that they mentioned something about further changes to glamour down the road, I'll take the increase in plates and everything else glamour related they've announced as the first step in the right direction. I believe that we will eventually see this being implemented and god knows people will love it even if they don't think so currently for whatever reasons they might have.

Absolutely, I'm 100% sure it'll gain a ton of positive traction not just in the community, but outside of it. Can easily imagine a lot of articles praising Square's decision to finally improve glamour by giving us more freedom.

I'd love to mix and match. If I'm playing multiple classes, why can't I pull multiple clothes out of the dresser? Maybe I'd like to wear the MNK's veil instead of that big head bow with my Dancer's Casque. Changes things up a little bit. Redolent Rose would be aghast at the lack of variety.

I can think of a million combinations that would work if we had cross-role glamour enabled. Honestly, I feel like that would be the next step in improving glamour (other than more plates/slots) and that they'll eventually do it.

Notice the new PvP series armor - it's a plate set that's level 1 for all jobs. Why is it any less immersion breaking for a white mage or even a culinarian to wear that than a PLD having maiming gauntlets ?

Keep the Job artifact gear locked, but remove restrictions on everything else.

Notice the new PvP series armor - it's a plate set that's level 1 for all jobs. Why is it any less immersion breaking for a white mage or even a culinarian to wear that than a PLD having maiming gauntlets ?

And the "new" Garo set has GNB using the same armor as not any of the unique tank/melee sets, but as the ranged one.

The glamour restrictions quite simply exist for nothing... The very reasons for it's existence is constantly ignored, except for us the players.
