Yeah I'm of the opinion that this lottery cycle takes WAY too long. I feel like it should be on a 4 day cycle - 2 days lotto, 2 days off.

(I'm also of the opinion that the lotto system sucks and they shouldn't have listened to players about that, because it's going to end up with more upset players than currently. I don't think people had malicious intent with their suggestions, they genuinely think it's a good suggestion, but people who previously were ambivalent towards housing are now inputting their ticket as well, so housing interest is going up.)

I thought about the cycle as well at first but to be honest, it makes more sense than a shorter cycle. Some players are restricted on when they're able to play due to real life commitments. Too short a cycle and they may be able to enter but not purchase if they win. That would not be a good thing.

Transfers should be instant. I don't care about lottery systems for new house buyers, placard clicking sucks; but transfers should be instant, since transferring to a home doesn't decrease the amount of available land. It just allows you to progress.

Or, that is what I would say, if it was true, but because of the arbitrary "FC only wards" that now consume 2/3 of all land, people who own personal homes in those slots wont be able to relinquish them to other players, will they? Kind of got blindsided by that one, huh?

Relocation would disrupt what's available in the lottery after other players had already entered and lost their chance to enter on a different plot that lottery period. And it would lead back to some of the trolling we occasionally saw in the past.

Most important, relocation RMT goes right back into business. We can't stop RMT but we can at least put obstacles in the way.
