The first Job quest too hard for lvl 30?

Hello! I'm asking you guys that do you think that the first quests for Jobs are too hard for optimal level? A friend of mine wanted to unlock Bard Job. So we gathered a group of lvl 30 members from our LS to make the job acquiring more exciting than rushing it through with lvl 50 class. We had a tank (GLA), healer (CNJ) and 2 damage dealers, kinda basic setup. We faced multiple targets in the instance and got wiped several times. For lvl 30 Job unlocking quest that might have been too hard, or what do you think? I love that in the Job questlines you need to face some challenging opponents in the end, thats awesome and makes you feel that you have achieved something. But the very first quest that is supposed to be just a prologue for the Job was kinda hard compared to what it recomends in the Journal (lvl 30 and 4 members in that Bard quest). Maybe we didn't just have the right strategy for it or something but what do you guys think? From perspective of lvl 30 players or a 4 member party of lvl 30 players, are the first Job quests too hard?

I'm not saying that the first quest should be soloable with ease. Would be good if you could complete the quest with friends more easily and it would still be soloable but with more difficulties. Even with a chance of failing

Yes, it's ridiculously hard. The monsters hit for ~300 damage, which at level 30, is about 1/3rd of your health.

They have tons of hp they lived from my Blizzara on THM i was like wtf? Also the fact they can still hit a lvl 50 player with ease is kinda annoying they hardly miss lol.

So I could not log in until yesterday and read all the "too easy" threads in between.

Then I finally log in, take my level 30 thm to unlock blm and thought I would just cheese through, and in 10 seconds I bite the dust with roughly 15% of hp taken out of the 1st of 3 mobs...

I can see it is doable with a good set up of 30s, but most likely, people will ask a level 50 to help them when their own class is not high enough.

That, precisely, is frustrating because you cannot take your own 50 to take care of the mobs. So the "difficulty" resides in finding a higher level player willing to help (because you know that is what people will do) rather than plan a strategy for a nicely challenging solo or level capped fight.

Yea same here. I don't have one job unlocked because I don't have any 50s (all 30s) and just reactivated so no LS or real in-game friends to speak of. When I shout for help or to team up no one says anything. A little frustrating.

The "too easy" posts are coming from people with multiple classes at 50, and who did it with groups. Yeah, a 50 can solo those. Maybe a 40.

But no group before 35 can take them on.

Yeah, I agree with this. You can "cheat" it out by switching over to a 50 class after entering the instance, but otherwise it's very hard to do at the correct level unless you get relatively good players with a varied setup. Definitely very hard to do in a party of 4 players on the correct class and level.
