New hrothgar hairstyles are really bad.

all 3 of these are for race selection, something you can only do with a fantasia/new character/retainer anyways, so it tells us nothing, really.

we have every right to be *furious* over this absolutely disrespectful showing. Not only do we lose our ears for hairstyles that No one asked for, but we STILL have to buy a fantasia just to change our hairstyle. The fact they made no mention of us being able to switch them at the Aesthetician speaks volumes. and that incredibly vague point about them moving "facial features" to hairstyles just pisses me off infinitely more. I am tired of being treated like a third class citizen because they cant be bothered to sit down and fix the actual problems, and instead apply ugly workarounds that no one wants.

no one said that you don't have a right to be angry lol, I'm saying to just dial it back and don't direct it at other forum users. Direct it at SE because the playerbase, IMO, does deserve a reasonable explanation other than "it had to be this way, pls understand". But because all we DO get is "it had to be this way, pls understand", it's understandable that people will speculate as to *why* other than "SE greedy and lazy".

the problem is that every other race has access to the Aesthetician by default and has never needed to be told "hey, you can go see jandelaine to apply this new hairstyle to your character." Hrothgar have never had this access. They've never even had a section for hairstyles. The fact they didn't go out of their way to say "yes you can change your hair at the Aesthetician now." has turned simmering discontent into full blown furious outrage. Why can't they be up front with us for once? it is completely intolerable that we STILL have to stress over this and many of us are rolling on the assumption we will still need to buy a fantasia to change our hairstyles, which, if true, is rubbing salt in an already festering wound because they couldn't be bothered to fix the ONE THING that we have asked for from day 1.

I'm gonna give them the benefit of the doubt and actually expect them to at least attempt fix Viera/Hroths in the duration of 6.x expansion, I've been playing Asian mmorpgs for 16 years and generally know the direction they like to take after a while. But I digress.

I believe they worded it horribly and we can change hairstyles in the aesthetician (I really hope that this is the case, or else it's just more problems.)

Anyway, this is not a race that feels that "The Dev team wanted to make." I understand higher-ups or focusing on money making (after all this is a company) but this is literally offensive towards your playerbase.
As said in this topic, there are people who uses third party programs and it makes a wonderful job. At this rate we don't care if it clips, or anything like that. We just want to have options for our race.

Also, yeah it isnt played as much. But the % of people that said if it had hair/hats they would play, it is high. So basically you're doing this will help the % stay low.
I hope we get an actual answer, and even the option to vote if we want ears clipping or not. After all, it is a small playerbase, let us choose differently.

One thing I can appreciate is that despite the divisiveness between other features, like making the game """"easier""" and Kaiten and other balance changes, we all can universally agree that our lion boys got done dirty.

I'm open for hugs and provide free copium if any of you need either.
