Only major problem I tend to run into aside DPS running from us with stack markers or running TO us with AoE markers is when tanks don't provoke or pull the boss off of me (the healer) or the top DPS when things go pear shaped.

Especially so in 8man content. If the main tank was dropped, the off tank doesn't provoke the boss, and we have a weird Scooby-Doo chase scene where the boss hounds a DPS or healer around the ring while the offtank keeps using attack combos without their stance on, acting as if it's normal that the DNC is now tanking the big demon guy..

Been doing Dun Scaith even more than usual lately and not only do off-tanks have trouble when the main tank dies to an unhealed or unmitigated TB from Diabolos Hollow, I've witnessed tanks do fine with him and then inexplicably turn and run into the middle portal. (The first time I saw it, it might have been an accident but I saw a guy from a different run purposefully walk into it.)

For anyone who doesn't know: At one point in the fight, a portal opens up in the middle of the room with an add inside to be killed. Normally, an OT and a healer from that same Alliance would want to go in along with some DPS. If the MT goes in, they lose enmity on my server Diabolos and he starts murdering any non-tank he hits.

I've watched in horror as he started running around and then no other tank took him back until the original MT returned from his brief trip. Bwuh????

That sounds like the MT trying to do the correct thing and doing the tank door/meteor cause no one else is while forgetting or not knowing/caring that isn't such a good idea for the MT doing. The other part is the other tank's healers not paying attention that their tank is now the MT or felt like MTing for one whole fight. At least that's what happens whenever I try to MT or have to take over being MT and it's a boss that either hits hard or has a nasty debuff like Cloud of Darkness's bleed. I died once cause I had one dead healer and the other healer put faith in the other four healers putting any type of thought in healing me while they raised people. Then some idiot in Alliance chat felt the need to complain about the tanks.
