It is rather odd because Trick Attack being a one minute cooldown already aligned with the big two minute burst windows.

I'm assuming they wanted to make NIN's personal DPS higher and less dependent on its RDPS contribution so it contributes more evenly regardless of gear level/party size.

In an interview, he mentioned that the healer they play tested new dungeons with got too good at healing them, so they needed to replace them for somebody lower skilled to properly see how the dungeons work with lower skilled healers. Paraphrased by me, their previous healer hit Savage level, and they needed a DF level healer.

That right there means they should've turned the dungeons harder. O.o My respect is getting lowered by the day at this point. :c

I absolutely hate dungeons but this comment annoys me. Dungeons are needed for the MSQ and so should be balanced towards the skill floor, not the ceiling.

LEt me make my comment more clear. Kicking the good healer is not the way to do it. I'm not saying the dungeons need to be extreme. But at the same time I think one of the issues with Healers is encounter design. We should be having encounters that make use of their kits fully instead of being just brain dead.

Thinking about how Byregot is the patron of crafting makes me wonder if he'll have a mechanic where he straight up starts crafting.

Like, he kneels down, pop out whatever crafting tool and *CRAFTING INTENSIFIES*.

Also, guess Godbert truly honors Byregot. Both in body and craft.

Seems WHM is getting a new spell for PVP.

Been busy seeing "You died" sprawl across my screen, but excited to come back into FFXIV again (never unsubbed, I just believe taking breaks for other games is good- and I've not enough time to dual play games lol). Really wanting to hear more news on island sanctuaries though, kind of hyped for it (though I know not to expect a complete port of "Animal Crossing"). Plus I'm one eyed right now as I've had a not so fun experience with lasik and needing to have it reflapped a few times o_@.

Not really important but it'd be kind of cute if when you fight your patron deity if you got a buff, a comment, or something.

Seems WHM is getting a new spell for PVP

I'm kind of okay with the nerfs to SCH Expedience. You rarely got to use its full duration anyway. It' still hurts that they would nerf the Capstone ability after it was all SCH got in that Endwalker trailer shitshow, but well, It doesn't change the fact that we have it in the first place. Its a strong ability if only visually undewhelming.

Scathe-like beams of destruction aren't exactly the first thing to spring to mind when I think of WHM, so I'm hoping SGE gets an impressive offensive limit break as well.
