New hrothgar hairstyles are really bad.

I joined the forums just to talk about this update. Hrothgars have waited for 3 years for a hair update, and this is the solution? Is it still going to cost $10 to get a haircut because you need a Fantasia? Why can't we at least have the default hairstyles available across every head model? This looks so bad that I thought it was an April Fool's Joke. I just don't understand, they're perfectionists when it comes to everything, except for Hrothgars due to how few play as this race. Maybe we would have more players interested if the choice didn't come with so many punishments. I could excuse the hats, for the most part, and I waited quietly for the hair update because they said it was coming and it was delayed due to Covid and they were working very hard on it, but I cannot excuse this. It is a joke, it is offensive, it's just bad and I can't believe that it's real.

Are you a translator? If so, what are your qualifications? Are you a Japanese native with enough experience to translate into English or back? You can't just up and make up a translation just because you feel like it is right. Not to mention a language has rules of use, and that is not how one would refer to the same context whatsoever.

I'd've settled for making all 8 of the original hairstyles available to all 4 faces. But I can't even get confirmation on that. Or if it's going to require a Fantasia. Or even a really decent translation of the liveletter.

Extremely disappointed. It's almost laughable at how awful these look, and meanwhile the modding community clearly cares more about this race than the actual devs which is a shame.

"We can't do ears" is the weakest excuse on the planet, especially since they're not even animated.

First time I've felt genuine disdain for the team and their work in six years, which is wild.

If it was April fool's, they got us all. Otherwise, I'm disappointed, to say the least...

At this point it just feels like they regret making hrothgars the way they did, however that was.

Personally I'm quite disappointed in what was shown. It doesn't look good, and it doesn't make sense when they have been perfectly fine with editing some hair meshes for other heads (ie miqote) in the past.

In case anyone is interested, here's how hrothgar heads look bald today:
Unless they have changed how the models is structured for 6.1, the ears as much part of the head as hyur/roe/elezen/lala ears and aura horns.

I would like to make a point:

WHY there can't be ears? Reddit Translate said that due technical issues (like hair alongisde ears) but it could've given the idea that it would be a clipping issue.

IF it's a clipping issue, I want to vote to keep clipping and ears. It would be like anime where the hair is above the character's eyes but you can still see the eyes. It's no big deal. If I use like Uraeus Coat on my Hrothgar the hair clips, or if I use a weapon that goes on back with Spriggan's Coat. I understand that this is more a QA thing for no clipping, but in this case it won't change as much.

IF NOT, an issue which breaks the game or gives more problems, then I would still ask to postpone it to have ears later.

I just wanted to express this opinion and see if people agree with.
And it should've been said if we would need another fantasia to change.(probably not, but I would want an official answer)
