New hrothgar hairstyles are really bad.

They promise so much about Hrothgar change and customization, those were all lies. The dev team and Yoshi probably look at 3% of Hrothgar players and think this is not worth their time. They truly didn't give any single care about it. The hairstyles are horrible implemented with no original hairs and take away ears, with an excuse of ear clipping issue. Waiting for 3 years and getting these, is like a slap in face, they just suck, both hairstyle and the dev who thought this is good enough.

I don't really have much to add to the discussion but I just made my account on the forums because of this Issue. Not only do I think it's bad that you're limited to only 2 hairstyles that are dependent on your face, but you also have to PAY IRL money just to get your hair changed? That in and of itself is already terrible and the fact that it has been going on for almost 3 years is baffling... But now the promise of getting more hairstyles materialized only to see THIS?

how should a hairstyle remove your ears? It's an important customizable part of the Hrothgar race how did they think it was a good idea to let them eliminate them? This wouldn't happen with any other race. They all look like wigs, the only decent looking one is Snow's and you have to pay for that one. We have been waiting so long for this to just get these 6 hairstyles? That look like this? how are they not ashamed?

I understand that Hrothgar is definitely the least played race and rather niche. But why promise that you're gonna give hairstyles and so on to give us something that clearly has been so half-assed? Just feels like they don't care about the race and at this point, I've lost hope.

At this point, I don't get why they don't just hire modders to do this stuff for them, seeing as modders already have stuff like this and hats for hroth's and viera done. :B

Just a reminder that the snow hairstyle has working ears for miqote and viera. Also $15 on mogstation, you're paying $15 as a hroth player for a lazily made product.

To be fair, one is based on character customization and the other was showing their flagship IP's mobile phone version and treating it like it was the new WoW expansion. Either way, it was funny when the dust settled.

Almost Everyone asked for existing hairstyles to be added, not new/ unique hairstyles.
But this is just further proof (for me) that the XIV dev team doesn't take western forums into consideration.
You all should know that asking for existing hairstyles to be added to Hroth/ Viera is a monkeys paw
Maybe ask for NEW hairstyles like so many of us have been trying to convince the majority to do
