New hrothgar hairstyles are really bad.

Replying to this thread as well regarding the upcoming "hairs" for Hrothgars to see if it gets some visibility and we don't have to wait several years for these to be fixed.

I sincerely hope that they re-add their ears back or at least, that we get a proper announcement if we need to use a Fantasia to change hairstyles because face and hair are still fixed to a single option. No other race has to do this to change their hair and having to wait so much for some hairs to be added for all of them looking like they were slapped as a wig is pretty sad.

1. They removed our ears! These are one of our defining characteristics in our race and appearance. This would be like removing the ears from the Miqo'te or Viera or scales/horns for Au'Ra.

Remember when they said Hrothgars would be among the most customizable races? Well, that isn't exactly true given our limitations on the character creation menu. But one of the few things we can change are our ears, limited as that may also be. But lol nah we're just getting rid of that one nugget too.

Modders do a better job.. I'm just disappointed at this point.

Last time a popular MMO's company was asked if their announcement was an April Fool's joke, there was outrage followed by the meme "Do you guys not have phones?".

Sure, SE isn't Blizzard, and thank god it isn't. But it's still not a very good sign regardless.

It's not an april fools joke.. this is what we are getting. And while you can defend alot of what the team does.. this isn't one of them. I'm not dying on this hill. I'll defend the story as long as I can find points to defend, I'll support dungeons and modes. But ye----ah I'm not touching this hill with an eggman sized pole. The team fucked it up.

I tempered my expectations, I knew we weren't getting a lot...but wow. Just, wow. I'm honestly just really disappointed, I've been saying it for years but it's pretty clear that the dev team either just doesn't care about or are ashamed of what they've made as far as Hrothgar go. The race felt incomplete at launch and all the mentioned of "cat faces are hard to work with" and not being able to implement hats all seemed kind of weird and struck me as odd. I've never seen a game struggle with beast character designs so much. I'm really just coming around to the fact that this game really only cares about the "5 Human Shaped" races and just kind of piddled around on the others with bare minimum effort .
