Second Wind isn't a "monk" ability, it's a cross class ability that's a self heal, called Second Wind. It's generic. There's nothing inherently "monk" about it.

I also have serious doubt that it's hit or miss. What does that even mean? Like, you mis-clicked your mouse and used another skill instead, or what?

The classes will eventually branch into multiple jobs...

This is exactly what I'm looking forward to. Right now, the job system is a good addition to an otherwise tenuous structure (in my opinion). It has a lot of potential for further growth.

If you want to play as a nuking healer, play as a thamuturge, that option still exists. I think the balance in playing a blm vs thm is great, if I solo or light party I play thm, if I party with a large or full party (6+) I'll play as blm. It's pretty sweet.

It's fine as is. Strict specialization helps keep certain jobs from being left out as much. When I played XI they did not have it as strict, especially with the sub-class system, but I can recall several times where a mage class like Whitemage was left out because a Redmage and/or Blackmage could heal sufficiently.

No thanks. I earned my 50s and have been playing this game as a dedicated member since September 21st 2010.

I don't respect anyone who considers petitioning for my hard earned achievements and lvls to be just simply erased. Those are hours and days of my life i can never get back simply because some newb was jealous that some of us actually gave this fail game a chance and persevered in the face of adversity.

We veterans earned our place to have all 50s.

Even asking to take that away is beyond ridiculous.

The sheer sufferance and invested time/exp/gil/achievements we poured into this game alone is numerically greater than the number of days you have been alive much less the tiny amount of consideration you put into your OP.

Not at all possible i would support any such thing. Theres no justification other than jealousy. No matter which way you spin your opinion, it is horribly flawed and inappropriate.

You call what he posted inappropriate? How did his post come off as anything close to jealousy? If anything you are completing inappropriate. He was just voicing his thoughts, nothing more. You go off like he's asking for a witch hunt, damn... relax some, maybe you should get out doors some more or at least away from FFXIV, it's just a game. Nahh. Don't attempt to berate my personal character because you believe im being over dramatic, which is also "just your opinion".

I do get out of my house: I am a 0431 MOS trained United States Marine. Being as how my occupational specialty is logistics and embarkation I have traveled various places across the globe in support of defending the freedom of ppl who do and do not care whether i do or not.
