weird thing about casting

I find it pretty weird anyway. What's the purpose of not being able to cast while walking? They should just limit the speed while casting. Would be way less annoying. Some call it an increase in difficulty but it's once again something that mostly hurts non-japanese players. Lag ftw!

Even jp ppl really suffers lag, mayne a bit less than us, but a lot anyway.. I just had one in PT 2 days ago while doing AFs , and he said that he live to the side of server, and he still lagged a lot :S

Since the patch i noticed that almost half the spells i cast dont work. im standing still use stone, it hits, use stonaga casts Nothing, try again Nothing, try aero nothing, try stone it casts, happens Alot!
& yes they need to get rid of that not being able to move while casting it would be ok if you could solo the whole game but you cant!

Well i notice i get interrupted more often now with mobs beating on me than i used to, which is intentional i believe. Are you sure this isn't what's happening to you?

I have noticed hitting the button and it not starting the cast at all, but not enough to get on my nerves (yet).

Looks like there may really be a problem and it is not a case of us just not understanding how it works now. I hope Square is aware of this..

What's been driving me nuts is pressing the spell button now cancel's the spell. Sometimes i'm moving, stop to cast but still registers me as moving. So I spam the button, it finally starts casting then cancels from a double press. Definitely ate an eruption or 2 trying to get ballad on our tank.

sometimes i click on the spell and there is the sound that confirms the spell is being selected but nothing happens,no message that the spell is casting! or cancelled.

there is much more stress when healing with this problem,sometimes i button mash the spell and the casting get cancelled lol

That's not weird... The weird thing is the one hand casting that make job casting class look like a joke. the awkwardness of casting with no motion. You only see a hand flash and spell is cast

I do dislike the second or two after you try to start casting when you are wondering whether you moved a bit, hit the button twice, the ui just messed up again or its lag.

I've been having the same problem. No timer issues, no movement, no interruptions, but spells do no initiate when clicked on. If I log out and back in, it seems to work fine afterwords.

Only problem for me is pressing the spell too early. I love movement cancelling spells.
