If you enjoy tanking, I'd suggest you consider sticking with it. Since tanks don't need the rest of the party once you get past a certain level, it limits the impact of a bad healer or bad DPS - you can always at least complete a dungeon (if perhaps not quickly).I started off as WHM during ShB and ran into some real toxic types in Akademia, when i was just starting to get my gear together. Where one group saw my lack of gear and adjusted, these other people gave me a hard time as they tried to force wall to wall. I later met the same tank in Eden and watched them get wrecked (Karma is so satisfying). I left healing alone after that and made mages my focus. I later got into tanking and got really good at that. I've since improved my heal game, favoring SCH and now setting WHM aside.
I'm at a point where I'm deciding if I would rather deal with a bad tank or a bad healer (or both).
