    They did mention that there was "reworks" coming for DRK, MCH, WHM and changes for other jobs.

    Kinda have high doubts well see any extensive reworks, most likely just minor changes to a couple skills here and there and the usual potency buffs...

    I agree that we shouldn't expect to see an extensive rework, but let's focus on the key points for DRK to put us in a better position for EW:
    • Living Dead needs a rework (not just number adjustments) to guarantee 10 sec of being unkillable and reduce strain on healers; we know updates to LD are coming, but the extent of its changes are still unknown
    • Blood Weapon needs to be put on a stack system a la Delirium
    • Carve and Spit and Abyssal Drain need parity (healing on C&S, 3 target damage on AD), or to not share a CD
    • Oblation and Dark Mind are underwhelming, borderline useless unless stacked
    • Connected to the above, general W2W sustainability needs a boost on par with other tanks' 82/84 upgrades
    No, these aren't the "only" issues DRK faces, but these are the most pressing ones and would push us forward for the expansion. If they hammer these few nails down, we can save our discussions of further reworks for 7.0 instead of mid-expansion. (Unless something else urgently crops up.)

    Even if we assume that no actions/traits are getting removed or added and they're taking a feather touch, that means LD needs a full rework, BW needs a light one, probably some DR/Cure Potency scattered into the rest of the kit, and an AD damage buff.

    Don’t forget that the player that cleared ucob world first as a dark knight even said It would have be way more easy with Paladin/ War combo. Like mid too late stormblood dark knight was considered a sandbag by a lot of people. I actually miss heavensward dark knight a lot and it was with whm one of my main jobs and then they just killed it (both whm and drk ) so I swapped of both these jobs for astro and gunbreaker. Drk just feels really clunky and boring outside of the 2 mins “random bullshit go” moments.
