lol, what's the reason for this? That saved like 2 polygons. SE should update the character models. We have no PS3 here holding us back like this.

I somehow managed to never notice that during my brief time as a moon cat but yeah wow that's super unfortunate lol

Do not underestimate the limitations of earlier consoles. Some saved polygons per character can make a huge difference.
Cheers

Considering all the close up cutscenes they've added, a general teeth/inner mouth update for all the old characters would've been wonderful. But yeah, probably won't happen any time soon.
I'll just pray that they at least will consider adjusting Keepers teeth so they'll get slightly more presentable.
First they removed OG butt now you have bad teeth. FFXIV Miqote evolution lore continues.

Mooncats are part bird, the teeth are still shaped like a beak. This is now canon.
I want pointy teeth too.

On PC you can fix it. Not saying how due to petty people reporting me.

It has been mentioned and it's been clarified that's not what they're talking about. You should read the thread.
They're talking about how the front teeth essentially look chipped off because of the weird angle on the model there, not the canines. It makes a really odd V-shape, which Endwalker's cutscenes tend to show off constantly.

Looks like they tried to keep the number of polys consistent between moons and suns. Because moons got lil fangs, those extra polys had to come from somewhere most people wouldnt bother looking.
tldr, its not an issue, its a design choice, but i understand why it bothers ppl
