I was actually watching lost ark video of Asmon and seeing that he got this "house maid" at his land who was very skimpy. All I was thinking "is this gender locked? cause if yes, i dun really wanna play that game". Don't get me wrong I do like to see pretty girls in games even as a straight girl, but to me showing a stereotypic big booba submissive side chick is not appealing.

Yeah, I do like how XIV's palette is broad enough to include male subligaria and female full plate. It just tends to do the female full plate a lot better than the male options -- again, as a tendency.

But here is a question to all the guys out there: Do you enjoy games where you can play with also a more feminine audience, or do you want a game where you only have your "homies"?

I like playing games with people who are nice and fun to interact with, regardless of gender, etc. While I enjoy eye candy as much as the next person, I do prefer games that encourage both males and females to play as it only increases the probability of finding cool people to play with. Art design that's blatantly hyper sexual isn't to my taste which is one of the reasons I appreciate this game so much; the majority of outfits have realistic covering and are tasteful when on the sexy side.

All art styles have their target audience who appreciate said style, but the closer they get to Rule 34 the less likely I am to play them; especially if it's skewed heavily toward skimpy outfits for females and not males as they tend to attract a higher proportion of guys and in my experience the higher the percentage of males in the player base the more likely aggressive behavior is.

I now want chocobo jousting.

This alone would get me into Chocobo breeding. What a fantastic idea! I'm not sure the betting would be a good thing as it would be far too easy for people to throw matches for MGP just like we've seen people throwing more traditional PVP matches for easy currency in this and other games.

On a side-note : I like the way they treat the "sexy" equipment in this game. I don't particularly like the classic "plate-bikini" that you find in most MMOs.

... But I also find that censoring it isn't necessarily the best way to go. In FF they chose to let everyone have the choice to be half naked. It's much more egalitarian in the end.
