Just had a very wholesome Sastasha run with a trio of new players. The tank was a bit nervous, but he learned quickly. When I offered him a little challenge - pull everything in the big room after the first Captain fight - he did it and handled it very well. Proud of ya, kid. Proud of ya.

Well, old thread is locked so I'm gonna be lurking on this one. I don't really have any stories to share myself this time since I've been doing nothing else but trusts lately and leveling an alt character on Primal. Now to disappear into the aether and just lurk until I have anything at all to share, dungeon runs lately when I have been using regular Duty Finder had been for the most part normal so I guess I've been lucky!

I knew I should've just began reclearing on Tuesday.
Two groups in a row spent like an hour on each for them to fill for first circle.
Both disbanded instantly before a pull even happened, first one during countdown because someone had cleared and joined even tho it clearly said 2 chests.
Not entirely the party leaders fault because I asked them to open it for me since I had cleared before but not this week and it was a '' duty incomplete '' group but wtf as soon as we exit and the tank who had cleared left leader just disbanded whole group.
I join the second group and the party leader was there too, but the rest didn't follow so yeah time to wait again.

We end up with 3 melee and none of us have done the swap before ( always been R1 in my groups? ) so we had to discuss it and it was going to be fine but party leader again disbanded whole group.
Just wtf dude whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.
Even if you're the party leader and you want to leave GIVE SOMEONE ELSE THE LEADER HOLY CRAP USE YOUR BRAIN.

As an aside, feels weird to have the old one closed because of 'forum load times'. Never noticed any trouble with loading the forum nor the thread, and it isn't like closing it is going to magically make all of those pages go away, just make it drop off the front page. But I suppose better locked than deleted.

These forums use vbulletin and as someone who has hosted numerous forums using this bloated, jankey, poorly coded mess of software "forum load time" is absolutely the reason. They were very probably also coming close to exceeding sql maximum table size limit too.

Kinda wish they would make one new section for archival stuffs, that is what we did when we had threads reach legendary status that were coming dangerously close to exceeding the 32mb limit I set on back end. If have eeeeever seen forum RP threads those grow to chungus status most quickly.

Just look at the poor wrapping on this element! It is borked, forked, and storked!

Can I turn off tank stance each time a healer cast regen pre pull?

I pre-pull regen some of the times if tank runs out of sprint (Mt. Gulg pull of legends), would be most displeased if I experienced demise over it though must say.

This is most fricken precious! My mom and her sister had similar experience in Tam Tera. She asked if tank would be willing to try big pulls if healer was okay with it, healer responded with "please", feel as though they were waiting for someone else to speak up. That sprouty tank pulled absolutely everything and it twas magnificent. They handled it perfectly too! They stated they were unsure how pulling worked in FF14 and now have achieved greatness.

Have never used Discourse but cannot imagine anything being worse than VBulletin 5.0 was, and if I could imagine this I would not wish to.

Off topic I know but quick change from style="float:left;" to style="float:inherit;" at the least stops the images from merging with the post text.. Jeez I have not done this in foreeeeever.

Discourse is the software a lot of other places started moving to from old school forum software (vBulletin and phpBB), and I hate it because as heavy as vBulletin may be, it at least actually loads whole pages at once. You tell me if that's an improvement. Scroll down pray the spinny wheel doesn't break. If one complains about vBulletin, Discourse is very likely what we're going to get unless there's newer forum software I'm not aware of. Forum software generally is dying out, unfortunately, as is long-form discourse (no pun intended, ugh).

Don't do that. Make sure you hit everything in your way while pulling at least with one of your AOE moves and you will be golden. Special prize if you hit each and every monster following you as you run to the next pull with tomahawk/shield lob/unmend/lightning shot if you have some physical DPS in the party so they can go ham while you are all running.
