VIERA AND HROTHGAR COMPLAINT MEGATHREAD

Now we have these bunny boys that also can't wear hats and have these hard baguettes that are lacking psychs as ears. Hopefully the cries for fixing the issues are even louder now.

Viera's ears are the same as how they were in XII... I doubt the developers would change the ears' physics because at this point, a lot of people (myself included) love them and wouldn't want them adjusted.

I do worry that people have put too much stock in Yoshi P's statements about custom hair and future customizations.

Do you know what he has also said in the past? That they wouldn't require players to remain subbed in order to retain their house. We all know how that went.

Point being, statements get made and maybe it's what they envision for the game at that time, but then things change due to <insert limitation of your choice>. Instead of unique options as previously stated, Viera were given 4 random hairstyles. This very well could be SE changing course like they did with housing.

I can see why the housing plan changed though, because there's limited housing so if a bunch of people just upped and left the game, it would be a waste of a plot - there's enough people fighting for the houses as it is. Yoshi changing his mind on this situation, there was logic behind it that benefitted other people.

And as for the Viera hair, I don't see a logical reason why Yoshi would go back on his word other than 'cutting costs' but considering SE are doing remarkably well for themselves lately, I don't see why that would be the case. I am trying to keep my expectations low but there are only two ways I would consider this situation fair; If Yoshi decides to listen to the people who aim to assimilate the Viera with the other races then we should get all previous hats fixed to our heads as well as shared hairstyles... If that's too time consuming then the other option being we get more exclusive hairstyles to compensate for lack of headgear, as originally planned. Unless SE have a third compromise that no one has thought of to make Viera/Hrothgar 'equal' to the other races, then I'm going to assume the two previously mentioned options are the only way.
