Minor thing ultimately because one wipe isn't that big a deal (and there was a new player bonus), but in A5, please knock the bombs into the opposite corner diagonal to the MT, not adjacent. I did exactly this to a bomb then went for the second, but someone else decided to knock the bomb into the adjacent corner, so that a few times coupled with vul stacks from Boost (don't need birds apparently), and well... Kablooe! People underestimate just how large those aoes from bombs are. Tbf, suppose it didn't help that the MT kinda would switch corners too in an attempt to adjust I assume... Oh well.

Haven't seen a dancer in Expert. Then I leveled it. Now any time I do Expert as a dancer, the other DPS is always another dancer.

To jump off this a bit, gods have my experiences with dancers lately been annoying as all heck.

I can count about 5 different dancers I've encountered in the past 2~3 days who either:
1. Partner the DPS who is half afk and barely registering on aggro
2. Don't partner anyone at all despite being asked/told multiple times by multiple people in a party
3. Partner a tank/healer instead of a DPS. And usually don't even have the good sense to partner the one doing more damage, at least.

There've always been people like this, but I swear I'm seeing this kind of stuff almost daily nowadays any time I get a DNC in a roulette or Pandaemonium. Don't have a clue what's going on but as a (former) DNC main, it's tilting.


Side note: I would really appreciate tanks remembering they aren't the only people in the world who have to stay in melee range to maintain uptime. Give your Reapers some room with your targeted AoEs, and don't drop tankbusters on them because you insist on running a circuit around the boss as an OT. :|

Who do I give Dance Partner to if a DD goes AFK? Genuinely dunno because it happened once in a dungeon and my fellow friend got mad I wasted the partnering on an AFK person. Does it go on the tank?

It can go on either one. Just don't waste it on a healer who isn't DPSing, either.

I saw one today who did the full Improv dance every time there was a stack marker. Even when nobody was standing with him anymore.

Honestly... please don't. I personally won't put myself through that $h!thole if I'm rolling in a job that has little power to prevent disasters ;_; It's precisely why I went on in my own story: because of WAR's omegalul sustenance.

Although every E6s party was Conflag prog. I've seen PF more than once jokingly (or not so jokingly) refer to it as the "heal LB3 mechanic".

To be fair, Conflag gave me my absolute favorite Healer LB3 story. The entire party was down save my co-healer, who slammed LB3... and then died. But they died at just the right moment that the cast was committed to the server at that point, which meant they did the LB equivalent of a slidecast... and as a result, when the LB3 went off a few moments later, it was just long enough that they'd registered as KO'd on the server and so they were rezzed by their own LB3.

We were all laughing so hard we immediately wiped for real.

I will never see the vaguely-haunted/semi-cursed netcode of this game align with a timing so perfectly as to cause something so absurd ever again, but it was glorious to see the once.

I don't run Expert without at least one friend so that we know we have tank and healer covered because of Dead Ends.

I wish every Expert dungeon was like the Dead Ends, I'd run them more often. But yes, only with one or more friends.

I tend to partner the tank if my DPS partner dies quite a lot, or if both the healer and other DPS die making it so that the tank and I duo the boss down.

just got pug run on aitiascope and this tank just pull everything to "blockade", nothing serious so far...

until the 2nd mob group, tank pull everything again but this time he keep running into boss, so basically we fight boss but also with mobs. iam dps so i got nothing against it but i think this shocked the healer and things got chaotic for a while.

after all done, healer ask to clear the mobs first but tank dont care, even said "i will keep doing it, jut leave if you dont like" and the healer leave, after that tank also leave leaving us both dps just like that. the other dps said to me "gonna blacklist that tank lol"...

what a day lol
