Zombie thread walking....
Everyone I know has had a shit deal the past couple years, myself included. Stop acting like you're the only one on the planet having a rough time.Life is a big bowl of sweaty lemons. You want lemonade so bad, but you're too tired and depressed to make it. Instead you just eat the lemons. You resort to crumpling up stevia packets all over the barely peeled sad citruses in your sad little salad bowl, and you eat it. You eat slowly while you're crying.
And you tell no one.
Each to their own. I think it's pretty cool:

I will say that it in poor taste and they used it as a way to sell it.
Now it's not so much that I feel that people are above me. Just that it's hard to get and has this awful sense of FOMO written all over it which is not a good look tbh, scaring your collectors into buying something sooner than they pay for is a classic gacha/mobile game tactic.
Also the fanfest hairstyles and outfits are bit much too but I do think they may eventually come to the mogstation.
Which should be the norm, let people who want/have money get it early to show off or whatever, but eventually bring it to the cash shop or event in game. Now before you say "no to the cash shop" , it's way cheaper than buying a 220$ statue or a ticket and flight to a fanfest.
As silly as this thread looks I do hate forced bundle deals with no way of buying the individual stuff. If the emote was available standalone I could see myself buying it. Of couse I can live without it but that doesnt mean I like this practice.
It just annoys me that there is no other way to get it, I have zero interest in the statue (have never been a collector type person, don't have any gaming merchandise, just not my thing) but I would happily pay like £30 for the emote on it's own
Emote looks great for sure, what a bummer it's attached to such an expensive (and apparently shoddy quality) limited item. But, eh. You can live without it.
