What "Tales from the EndWalker" -esque short story would you like to see? [6.0]

I expect more of Lorens from the Company of Heroes that we met in the melee role quest. That was definitely a dynamic they're keen to explore more.

A story from the Meteions' perspective might be interesting.

What I REALLY want are stories about Thavnair and/or Garlemald dealing with their disasters and rebuilding. Garlemald I expect to get a lot of in-game, but Thavnair... it actually faced a lot of destruction of stuff that's not easy to rebuild, like jungle. I wanna learn how they're dealing with it.

I also want to see the first international diplomatic summit where Vrtra turns up. That just sounds like a fun wrench to throw into the proceedings. "And now, everyone, please welcome... an immortal dragon that has outlived countless civilizations and will most assuredly outlive all of ours as well."

I think Lorens will be an NPC for a 7.0 New World/Meracydia Expansion so I'm not expecting anything with him until then. Depending on where the MSQ goes with Garlemald (especially the Xth Legion; I was beyond ecstatic to hear the Tenth introduced and positively shaking wondering which FFX (or X-II) character their legatus would be an expy of), I could see a short story for them, but one of the tales has to involve Vrtra.

I'd want more Hythlodaeous, even though we've gotten some already. He's just great. No more Emet pls.

Yeah, I'm on board with this. We're already getting more Ancients with Pandaemonium and, presumably, some tie ins with the 24-mans as well. I appreciate them as characters and do have some unanswered questions but it really is time to move on, especially since we are still getting more in game content dealing with them too. We don't need even more supplemental material wrapped up around them.

For the Ancients, I want The Twelve to tie into Venat/Hydaelyn's group somehow, be it more creations like The Watcher or the allies she gathered and trusted, and I do want a short side story next year when we've finished Pandaemonium and whatever story they write addresses something to do with the completed story of that raid. But as someone who never liked them to begin with and was sick and tired of Emet (and Hyth's fandom) before 5.3, please, anything but them.
Ugh, I can't believe I'm typing this, but frankly I'd rather have a 'Zenos internal monologue as he teleports into Sharlayan to find Krile thinking about his one nugget of character growth' than yet another story involving Emet.

My suspicions about the next expansion mean that I doubt we're getting anything with Tiamat yet as to not spoil.

It's acceptable to not like Emet and/or Hyth, your opinions are valid, but they are hugely popular characters with the majority of the fanbase and there are a ton of people who'd be really happy to see more of them.

I can understand that and also thing we've wrung that well dry at this point. Like, I feel like there's just NOTHING else worthwhile to cover for those two, and I don't want us to delve so far into that fanservice that we start learning about Hythlodaeus' favorite midnight snack.

Considering our "Tales from the End" are 100% coming after the Season 2 story starts in 6.1, I'd be interested in who/what they set up, considering it's also VERY likely the team is already thinking of the new areas for 7.0, so: people of Thavnair researching Akasa, Garlean efforts of reconstruction, the missing Legions and their Legati (like, say, a certain Noah who is presumed dead but whose ghost is conveniently sighted in Valnain...), what in blazes will Sharlayan devote themselves to now that they're not worrying about the End of the World, Limsa planning some more excursions into the NEW World, maybe...

Maybe something with Varshahn as the main character showing Vrtra's more day to day interactions (and the peoples' interactions with him)

This 100%, it's stated that the people saw Varshahn as a delightful little boy, and he even played with the other children in Radz-at-Han. A flashback to Vrtra using his mammet body to mingle among his people would be an interesting read.

I think we're well overdue for a tale involving Urianger – I don't think he's so much as been a supporting character in anything.

Either his time with the Loporrits or something from his past with Moenbryda would be good targets.
