Well that post was an interesting read. If you're seriously not having any fun nowadays there's always Dark Souls and Sekiro to try out. Maybe FFXIV just isn't for you.

The simple reality is more people are ok with new summoner and it's largely agreed on that it captures the spirit of what it should have always been. Heavensward style gameplay isn't coming back anytime soon, though perhaps if enough support was shown who knows they might even release ARR or Heavensward Classic for that crowd.
