(This was for Smileton, where I could never find where the red/blue debuff was supposed to appear for the head boss. Now I know where to look.)

You can separate the debuff bar from the rest of the status effects and put them right in the middle of your screen next to your character at 200% size. Makes it a lot harder to miss debuffs when they're right next to your character model.

it does have a line to indicate it's cleansable with esuna. you're missing it bc its a 10 second debuff. it also does go in front of buffs on the party list.

For any future testing needs, the lowest level morbols you can find are probably in Central Shroud in the area leading to Haukke Manor and somewhere in the South Shroud.

The hard part is aggroing them without killing them. I managed to get it done with Feint at max melee range, followed immediately with ESC to avoid autoattacking it.

And, this is the very thing I am not experiencing since the expansion for me. The icon is showing in the middle or near the end of the buff line next to someone. I'm glad that it works for most people, but what I am saying, is it's not doing this for me, even after resetting the UI.

This may be the issue for me, but I don't notice if this is the situation as I am not noticing any lag at the time. I'm usually too busy looking for someone with Necrosis, because there's always one...

Go to where Haukke Manor is, there's a bunch of Morbols that can bad-breath you and you can see how a big bar of debuffs look.
