Was in a trial just now.

The boss was pulled and went straight for the healers. Healers were resurrecting eachother and were frantically trying to keep everyone topped up, DPS dropping left right and centre; It was chaos. Neither tank wanted to put their stance up so they just ignored the pleas in chat. Needless to say, very early in the fight we wiped.

First tank left after claiming his stance was on but the mobs were just ignoring him. The other tank said “not doing this sorry” and left, then the healers left followed by all DPS.

What a weird fight. I’m just surprised because this is the first “one wipe and I’m done” group I’ve experienced in FF

Queued into P3 normal. Got a group in progress. It's one healer and they leave a couple seconds after I load in.

I was in Prae on WHM for tomes. I hit Gaius with Aero on the platform as the first one to land a blow and then pelted him with Stone II. The tank(s) weren't able to pull aggro from me (I know one was actively trying - but w/o tank stance) until I died 8-10 seconds later.

Is that normal?

Should I be able to hold aggro with Stone II?

I mean it isn't a big deal with the ease of the fight and the long cutscenes (dying made no difference at all) but I was surprised nonetheless.

Now that I'm maining phys range, I'm genuinely shocked at the amount of melees who fight me for my safe spot at the BACK of the arena where I already was...

He will always focus on the first person to slap him, it's normal.

I've lost count of how many times I've been at a decent range as a machinist or red mage and gotten killed because a melee player decided to run their AOE to me for some reason and overlapped it, taking us both out. Then blamed me for it.

I love it when you both have the Aoe and you're trying to get away from the other person and they keep following you and kill you...

I had a nice, smooth run of World of Darkness today. Not a single wipe!
