Space Exploration [ENDWALKER MSQ SPOILERS]

Now that Endwalker is over and I love the slightly sci-fi edge to the story. Do you think we'll be able to visit other worlds now that we have the Ragnarok?

Personally Final Fantasy has not really done anything with space since Final Fantasy VIII and I always loved that section of the game as well (Can we please have an FFVIII and FFIX remake Square, it BADLY needs one to flesh out the story, FFVII has been done to death).

With "other worlds" being mentioned, it would be great to take a break from the High Fantasy of Ezorea to explore other worlds, perhaps even start a colony, just incase another world destroying calamity comes along... again.

I'm a little surprised our FC houses aren't making autopiloted spaceships to send out to gather fancy things.

N-Not that I'm not thinking about having the air, sea, and heavens covered for these sort of things... no. Not... me...

Or having FC houses that ARE spaceships, being able to have the Ragnarok as your FC home would be a great addition. They've opened all this up with the "edge of the universe".

I always believed that all the FF worlds take place in the same universe, a lot of the worlds metetion described sounded like the worlds from other FF games. The one that destroyed themselves through technological innovation could have easily been a future version of FFVII or FFVIII because both were technologically advanced. FFIX also had Terra which was a dying world too.

Still think 7.0 will be all about space traveling. Something like Star Trek or Star Wars. Saving other planets from evil and destruction.

The unfortunate grim implications of the story is that most of the other planets (within however far Meteion actually traveled) are super dead
But it'd be neat to have something where we go out there. See some worlds starting to be born anew, in the aftermath
Also space is cool and I love sci Fi fantasy mixes lol

You want to be careful with going too far away from the setting of the world you started in.

Take WoW's story for example.

Their story has taken them to a place that has more or less diminished the conflicts and stories of Azeroth because now you're off fighting celestial cosmic beings that control the realms of death for every living being in the universe.

Didn't we basically do the same in Endwalker? But at least SE knew when and how to finish the story.

The rest of space is dead lol what is there to explore

I for once really want to return being an run of the mill adventurer, without all of the titles attached. We saved the whole planet and arguably the whole universe, we did enough, more then enough. I want to go back to the time of exploring, where dungeons felt like dungeons and not like corridors, where doing battle leves was a nice change of pace, where fates were not things to just blindly grind, a time where a Chimera was an actual threat.

I dont mean doing fetch quests over and over again, but quest like : The Greatest story never told (That is an amazing quest, took me 5 days to finish and was fun as hell)

I overall tire of this world savior trope.
