I feel like it should be the other way around, because many players don't even play at a standard that can pass content. If one or two people aren't carrying the party, it often leads to constant wipes, and/or the failure of actually completing content. Frankly, they should PF "learning" parties for many dungeons at that point!

That would be lovely, if players didn't report each other for "compelling a playstyle". Often times, others will just choose to kick them instead.

Extremes you would hope so, but, yes, this isn't the case quite often. I am not referring to a mistake here and there, but constantly failing the same thing. I've been in farm parties where the same person dies over and over and over to the same thing, and I am talking about just moving out of a mechanic, by the way. They join farm parties all the time. Extremes are relatively easy enough, that even if there is a player like this in a farm party, regardless if it causes a wipe or two, often times it can still be cleared even with them laying on the floor.

    Never understood this mindset.

If you want fast runs where everyone knows what they are doing, organize an FC run. The roulette is a madhouse. Part of the appeal. It is an mmo. If you can't make enough friends to make a 4 man party for a dungeon...that is really really sad.

Like maybe rethink your life sad.

Go queue for things with premade's if u don't want to have people learning mechanics in your runs.. smh ppl are allowed to be new and inexeperienced. I had the level 90 dungeon take almost an hour due to wipes and just made fun with it.

Well, some new players don't even know how to open PF window. At least hard raids got some roadblocks.

That's also my stance. The other players are just weird random mechanics to spice the run up and make healing/tanking more fun.

Scripted, perfectly executed content doesn't excite me much. A chaotic run does.. as long as people don't start getting bitchy about it, that is.

I'm sorry this is happening to you. I guess it's true what they say, there's always someone who has it worse. Really puts my troubles in perspective.

Obviously there's a line to be drawn about griefing but I think you should be able to go in blind without being ridiculed and bullied for it.
There’s a line. For example, a healer that doesn’t know what healer lb3 is in the 89 trial does deserve a bit of a snicker.

The mechanics for that specific fight might be new to them, but I’m going to give them less of a pass if they’re spamming cure 1 with lb off their bars.

Your lodestone shows you don't have the Magitek mount nor the Manacutter mount that the MSQ rewards, you should head into Grid and pick them up. https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodes...56505/#profile

They're very likely grinding their way to 90 without touching MSQ quests much... IIRC they're still on like level 69 quests.
