SE has. We received 21 days of compensation for lost time. Seeing as Early Access started 17 days ago, I'd say we've been adequately compensated up to now. In effect, none of us have had to pay for any portion of EW to-date, even if that compensation will come in the next billing cycle. They've shown a willingness to pro-actively give game time so I wouldn't be surprised if we get more in the future.

If you're paying for cable internet, you are contributing to the very same idea. Hence, why they usually advertise that your speeds may drop during "peak" times.

    1. More product has been sold than can be delivered.
    2. Infrastructure improvements to help deliver the oversold product is not possible due to supply chain issues.
    3. Competition to log in will only increase immediately after early access.
    4. To avoid queues, players will not log out. Auto logout is easily bypassed by staying in dialogue with an NPC, auto running into a wall (not tested), macro keys, etc.

The situation will not improve anytime soon. By no means am I supporting that this is an acceptable or excusable situation. I am making an appeal to fellow fans who are getting frustrated by waiting and waiting to get in. Don't do it, your time is too valuable.

Selling a product and then effectively saying, "by the way there will be issues with providing what we sold you but hey we warned you" is a morally bankrupt way to conduct business. Clearly, commercial interests and bottom line sales were prioritized. Apologies are a cheap way to make money, they don't cost anything.

If you are frustrated, walk away, there is no solution. Don't waste your valuable free time and energy friends. Come back and enjoy the game another day ... week?

(Oh shoot I'm queue number 690?! LOL!!!)
Sounds like an entitled player WoW player issue... just deal with it like the rest of us do...

While it doesn't solve the problem, it does show goodwill, and they did at least two detailed explanation posts on the Lodestone to lay out why exactly these problems exist and how they plan to fix them.

Seriously, at this point, threads like this remind me of an angry toddler throwing themselves to the ground kicking and screaming. Maybe cut it out already?
Yeah seems to be the entitled gamer sickness has hit them because they cannot get on the servers when they want and everyone has to wait so they can get on and do what they want to do.

The fact of the matter is there are only 2 options:

    1. Go out of your way to login outside of prime hours. Sometimes, this is not viable for an individual person.
    2. Unsub and walk away from the game for 2 or 3 months and come back when congestion has decreased.

Playing during prime hours without having to deal with a long wait is not an option, no matter how much everyone wishes it was.

MY only gripe with this is how Japanese culture works, apologies mean a lot to them and shows they do genuinely understand the issues. Also Given the situation, it would have been worse to keep the game in Limbo and not release it until they had the servers. As we all know, theres no guarantee we'll even get more servers, or enough servers to sustain this large an amount of players. But I do get the point you;re making. THis is ultimately a damned if they do and damned if they don't situation. Theres no winning either way.

But this is also just me going off what has been shown and said to us on multiple occasions regarding the issue.

? Wow players have dealt with long ques, buggy game and disconnects many many times. It more sounds like a life long FF14 player that hasn't had to deal with this before

Ok just a heads up queues are 100% going to be happening and depending on you server it might be pretty long. 500k cap and 1mil subs? You will have a queue and the servers may have some issues. You were warned.
If you don't understand about time zone and how MMORPG server is functioning, you don't understand at all.
Your just trapped yourself in a loop of a high school level business concept instead of how business operates in real world
