Mercs+1: Thoughts after my third Belvedere on the rocks.

I pseudo-lead a shell named Mercs+1. When I say lead, I mean lead as in, I think that I have power towards members and events and they are on the fence about me. Suggesting thoughts to others and getting, "That sounds like a great plan."
Or more commonly, "Brucey, wake up. Your nose is on the push to talk button."

I was advised to create an introduction to the shell to all new members of Hyperion --as in players who have merged here from a server outside the pre planned mix and players of Kashuan-- in order to give a impression to those dumb enough to be curious of who we are.

First, I would like to point out this is not for recruitment purposes. I happen to dislike recruitment. It's like throwing a house party and getting those people who crash, do not contribute any alcohol, stay two hours past the time you wanted people to get the f%^& out, then barf all over your mother's expensive oriental rug. You need to be friends and know the people you're inviting into your home, right? Am I crazy for thinking this way? Anyway...

We are a joke. Honestly. The shell was actually created as a joke. How a joke could materialize into a pretty successful lot is a joke in itself. If there is one thing I'm proud of, it's showing that creating your own opportunities even under preposterous circumstances can really pay off, and I want you to laugh at that. Now, I'm not claiming us to be the best shell on the server. Blah blah blah. *yawn* However, I do claim us to be the best shell of those who take nothing seriously.

We want to have fun. We want to be embarrassing. We would like to welcome you and have you laugh with us. We promise to be comic relief in a sometimes incredibly monotonous game and we hope to create new comical experiences with a new wave of players.
