Emet-Selch mentioned corners of Eorzea we haven't yet explored, including the whole continent of Myracedia. That's a start.

WoL is Azem and that doesn't depend on the crystal's power or Hydaelyn herself. From a narration standpoint we're not the WoL anymore but to Eorzea and the world that's what we're known us so we're keeping the title. What comes next? Ishikawa knows only. We may visit another of the shard or move to a whole new continent out of Eorzea to which we're a nobody. There are endless possibilities pf where we go next.

If any writers can successfully pull of an arc where we are back to just being adventurers again, and actually make it work, its FFXIV's writers. They can and should do that.

We still have other shards we can visit, plus the entire southern continent which could have a lot of rich lore to be added to the game. The skies the limit with all the stuff they can do.

We used up Hydaelyn's magic that was stored in the Azem crystal. The regular magic inside the crystal should still be there I think. Regardless, as the traveler we're set to travel and Emet conveniently gave us a new sight seeing log so I think theres the safest bet lol

We don't really need Hydaelyn anymore. We're a 8th rejoined powered up entity capable of crossing dimensions and time travel. In terms of pure experience and ability, we tower above everyone else. That said, it looks like our next adventure would be going back to Elpis and trying to pull off a Crystal Exarch and change their history. There's also the whole mystery of dynamis to go into.

I like the idea of and am glad they sort of went with the notion that for the time being we are just a strong adventurer. Now that our big bad adventure is “done”, we can eventually start another without having the world rely on us to save them. At least not yet.

I am guessing we lost the Blessing of Light, so we will probably carry one of the scales just to make sure, we still got the Echo due to it being a heritage of our Amourantine soul(Azem) and I am guessing we are still the "Warrior of Light", as they said in the first, Warrior of Light became synonym with "Hero", but we are basically super-omega-hyper-powerful adventurers more than anything now.
