Never understood the complaints people have for the "RP as another character" segments (there's a handful of them... come on) in general, and this was no different. It fit what they were going for; desperation, and I think it worked well. I understand why people would be annoyed with the brief backtracking, but it makes sense. You had no reason to think there was a semi-working magitek walker that you could make use of, or if it would have fuel in the tank. Naturally once you do find it, you elect to utilize it and run off in search of ceruleum. Beggers can't be choosers, you're not in your true body and all the while Zenos is inching closer and closer to your friends. Gotta use whatever is available, but only once you're actually aware of what IS available. We're not omniscient and lugging a heavy fuel tank around for no reason (at that point) would be absurd.

I agree. Especially when "very easy" mode exists, it gives them more freedom to bump up the difficulty.

How did you get that? I just did the regular trial and it gave me no option.

It is safe to say that I did cheat and look up a video because I'm not a fan of stealth missions.
I can see why people would like it, though.

despite that, I'm still super in love with the scenario.


We just need more gameplay/puzzles in all aspects of our interactions with the game-world and story.

It took me until around 7 minutes left on the timer to complete it but I got it done. Most of that time was spent looking for an NPC that was apparently hiding right beside where the next objective was to be. I facepalmed so hard irl when I realized my error. But still, I don't think it was awful by any means.

After doing this greatest solo duty in the history I have to ask: what's stopping someone to swap your body with a frog(or old geezer/baby) while we are asleep and going around murdering everyone with your stolen body while screaming shinu?

It wasn't hard, it was just annoying due to the timer. Let me go at my own pace please! And the bit afterwards didn't really have the big payoff that I thought it would which kind of rendered the moment pointless.

It was alright.
Not opposed to the developers experimenting more with that type of content. Definitely work on refining it, as some aspects felt a tad clunky, owing no doubt that this content is embedded in an MMO.

Cleared it on my first try and loved it, specially for the narrative moments taking place there and such.
It was very smart imo~ generally i love playing other characters and such too!

It was an interesting look at just how weak a normal soldier really is compared to the Warrior of Light. We stomp our way through battlefields like that before breakfast, but a normal person actually struggles. I wouldn't want to see that a lot, but it was interesting to do once.
