Levelling 80-90 Where do you go?

The earing is working as intended. It only works upto 80

So I Just did A Fate in Thavnair You get 302,940 exp from them. ANd in Zadnor when you complete the instance you get like 799,420 exp and the fates are 319,770 exp so it does seem faster to level up in Zadnor from 80-90

I've just been doing EW FATEs, cleaning up sidequests, and queueing for dungeons. Not super efficient, I suppose, but I can get the FATE completions I need so I can unlock Bicolor rewards, and exp at the same time. It's pretty much what I did at the start of ShB as well.

I did some grinding the skirmishes in the last zone of Zadnor a few days ago on my DRK. Before level 86/87, you can gain a level in about 30-45 minutes. Once you hit 86/87, it appears that your levelling speed slows (takes an hour to level up) and from what I've heard at that point you're better off spamming the highest level dungeon you can queue for.

If you figure it out let us know. They evidently removed exp gains from killing trash in dungeons (making menphina's earring worthless btw)

So much misinformation. It only works lvl 80 and below. All exp from trash is moved to bosses, and the earring works on the boss exp.

It does. I've tested it with a friend in Hero's Gauntlet. I wore the Earrings while she didn't and I got higher EXP despite us both being the same level.

I heard EW fates are decent-ish

menphina's earring still works for sub 80 stuff fyi, the combined mob xp was just added to bosses instead of being individually assigned to them

30ish fates with 50% bonus at lvl 83.

I found fates while waiting for dungeon queues to be good.
Zadnor is okay too if you can stomach it.

But I think that world fates are better currently because the world is actually populated.
Almost every time I did fates I ended up with groups where we ran from fate to fate and finished them quickly.

Edit: If you want to be lazy too, you could do trust and then just let the AI kill the trash and just kill the boss then rinse and repeat.
I got NIN from 80-89 yesterday and towards the end I was so exhausted that's what I did for a little while watching a movie.
