Threads like these make me so glad I left WoW. First world MMO problems, really.

Man, they've completely forgotten we have ears on the tops of our heads, I wouldn't be surprised if they forgot we had tails.
Honestly, unpopular opinion: I think the capes in this game look bad regardless of the tail issue. Because of how they're rigged, their physics just make no sense, and it bothers me.
If they insist on doing capes, I really wish they would keep the tail in mind, either by having it rest over the tail, or by tailoring it so it doesn't fall near the tail (make it shorter, or have it fall over one side like the first rdm artifact set). But I definitely don't want them to hide my tail completely. Theyve been doing it too much with my ears already.![]()
~sigh~
Funny you mention this.
I made a mod for Skyrim that lets my tail poke out of cloaks JUST LIKE THIS, because I was tired of the cloak mods removing my tail by using that equipment slot.
needless to say, this bothered other folks enough that I have quite a few downloads of said mod.
Sidenote, the armor sets with tail armor aren't fitted to Au Ra tails. It sucks.

A cape/cloak toggle would be amazing. The best of both worlds. I just somehow don't see them ever doing it.
Oh yeah, I do recall the DRK set. It's definitely bizarre.

A tail toggle would be nice. Like the other display toggles. You can pretend you have it shoved down your pant leg or something, just have the option to turn it off when you don't want it clipping.

For Mi'qote, at least, I'd like if we had an option to do like Saiyans in DBZ, and wrap the tail around our waist, like a belt. That seems like a fair compromise to me. Might be difficult for Au Ra, though, their tales seem a bit beefier.

This was something that came up many years ago. SE basically said "Hey we only have so many bodies to do models and textures and whatever and the suits won't give us any more. So, would you rather have more unique things to look at, or would you rather have just a couple but they work with the tails?" The end result was favoring volume over clipping avoidance.
