The worse part of the white knights is that they seem to have reading comprehension issues.

They keep regurgitating the same talking points about chip shortages, and act like that is the answer, and we should all be understanding because of it.

if you mean the 2002 error it isn't a code problem. It's means the server has hit it's limit and it drops you rather than crashing. Even keeping you in a queue has limits. There may be a way to give you back your position but that might also mean kicking other people. That code isn't broken, it just isn't there.

It's fine to be upset, I mean we all saw this coming years ago. But it's not gonna be better until they increase their capacity.

Well honestly if they are going to charge you MONEY for early access and then you are un able to do so and it is THEIR fault. then maybe they should refund that portion or MAYBE just maybe not offer it as an option if they are going to be unable to provide the service.

For those saying just wait the world don't revolve around you ect. How about you get reservations for a special occasion, go to a restaurant pay extra for a private table. Then when when someone just walks up and goes in in front of you and they sit at the private table you reserved. And then you have to come back another day and maybe you can get in and get a regular table but you don't get your money back for the private table. Remember the world don't revolve around you.

Just so people know this was the same thing over four years ago with Stormblood. SE stayed quiet all weekend the players couldn't progress and the forums rallied behind the dev team and how hard they work. It didn't matter to them they lost a big chunk of subs. Sadly I think it would be a miracle to see any real fix. They probably can't magically recode the login system and they can't get more servers now. One hopes they are on an order list that companies are working through. But that ETA I would be shocked if it wasn't Q2 2022 or later.

It's the same value as regular access.

The term early access is silly. SE defenders use it to say it is worthless and others use it to decide value. The expansion launched Friday morning anyone who thinks otherwise is kidding themselves. SE just has a neat little trick to try to spread the congestion out. This problem isn't going anywhere soon if people keep playing.

Yeah, no. I pay my sub, I want to be able to come on and play it. Not log in after work to a four hour queue only to be dumped at 16 in the queue. I am beyond pissed off. All I want to do is log in, but now I want to uninstall the game.
