The person who doesn't have a main class or character.

I’ve decided to try red mage out and holy cow this class is what I begged for in wow!

The person who doesn't have a main class or character.

dark knight and the upcoming reaper are probably your best choices if your going for a dark and edgy class, maybe black mage as well.
Tank: Dark Knight - An enigmatic being who wields the dark arts through & performs in the most unorthodox way that so astonishing & yet frightening. A being that may have no equals but the extend of his/her desire for supremacy or perhaps cursed.
DPS magic: Black Mage - A magi tracing as far back as Moch’s ancestry. Adept minded people who dared venture & test the Void which many fear. The first to tame demonic beings to their will & smile back in defiance. Though not as impulsive as Dark Knights, they’re calculating & cunning to further thwarp beyond Aether & their might can bring giants, heroes & foe alike.
Healer: Astrologian - Some say you’ll never dare to know much of your future & some consider it a forbidden dark art. In truth, they who studied the heavens were able to weaver through the dark beyond & stars to foresee potential fates or alter it. Who know what else have they uncovered, but certainly not to be taken lightly…
DPS melee: Reaper - A stoic yet unrelenting hunter who’s connection to the other world frightens most denizens of Eorzea. A communion through the spirits & other entities, who is to say what they’ll reap next.
This is... completely inaccurate to the lore of the class in game.

Dark knights began as an Ishgardian knight discarding his oaths to stand up against the corrupt elements of the Holy See and vowing to use the power of the abyss to fight against it. However, despite the edgy themes, the class lore points out (spoilers for the 50-60 job quests):
... that one cannot properly defend with nothing but anger and hate. A true dark knight must also balance the darkness with love and the true desire to protect, or the only thing they face down the path is isolation and self-destruction. It is, essentially, a deconstruction and subversion of the dark and brutal anti-hero archetype.
there's also a bit of joking based on how the class story goes ofDark knights began as an Ishgardian knight discarding his oaths to stand up against the corrupt elements of the Holy See and vowing to use the power of the abyss to fight against it.
"There's a serious lack of therapists in Eorzea, so I picked up a sword and job stone from a dead guy and introjected him to be my therapist instead."
A male Au'ra named Shadow Bringer, wielding the Shadowbringer Sword and spamming Shadowbringer/Flood of Shadow, while wearing any of the DRK Jobgear sets. Bonus points if you got a edgy chatmacro for all your Buffs and Limitbreak.

So I’m confused so dark knight do not use dark magic?
