I wonder what was not done yet.

I wonder what was not done yet.
well there's about 80 hours of paid time off I need to reschedule that has to be used before Jan 1...

Seems Yoshida is very, very upset over the delay.![]()

Yoshi P should not be so hard on himself. Watching him break down on stream over this is rough.

This must be immensely frustrating for those with vacations or other plans made around the expansion and Savage tier launch dates. That said, I'd rather have a good game and a well-rested development team than a delayed or rushed game. In the immortal words of Shigeru Miyamoto, "delays are temporary, a bad game is forever".

I need to make some phone calls to make sure I can correct my time off...
Two weeks ahead of time so that's probably ok... But hoo that's right on the edge..
I mean seeing how New World is doing rn, QA is appreciated...
But ugh, I hate retail holiday hell. Maybe my boss will appreciate my ability to attend right before our blackout days. (gotta check to see if dec 3rd is safe tho...)
~sigh~

Yeah I'm watching and he's crying on stream. But he does assure everyone it's just that they need 2 weeks of further QA. My worry when I first heard was "Is two weeks enough?"

Makes me kinda sad, it's extra two weeks of nothing to do really, but oh well, a better polished game is a better polished game, so it's probably going to be worth it in the end, don't exactly have any strong feelings for or against it.

Two weeks is entirely livable. Shame for those with scheduled time off around the 19th, but it's for the best. Hopefully since it's the holidays everyone can get plenty of time off anyways.
